Healthy Dialogues works with NHS organisations, local authorities, and system partners to deliver research, evaluation, and population needs assessments. Our work provides a strong evidence base for decision-making, demonstrates value for money, and informs future commissioning and service design.

Our team includes doctoral-level researchers with extensive experience delivering high-quality research, evaluation, and population health studies, with a strong track record of peer-reviewed publications. We combine behavioural science, public health expertise, applied research methods, and specialist analytical capability. All our programmes are co-designed with stakeholders and people with lived experience to ensure relevance and impact.

Our research services

Population needs assessments

Insight-led population health and wellbeing assessments informing strategic planning and commissioning. Including: combining data analysis with local insights, Identifying priorities, inequalities and opportunities. Generating clear, actionable recommendations.

Programme evaluation

Rigorous process and outcome evaluations that demonstrate impact and inform service improvement. This includes: co-developed methodology and insights, quantitative and qualitative methods, capturing lived experience and process and outcome evaluations.

Pharmaceutical Needs Assessments

Specialist PNA production for Health & Wellbeing Boards, fully compliant with statutory requirements. This includes: a full population needs assessment, geospatial mapping and 60-day public consultation support.

We create safe, inclusive opportunities for people to share their experiences, ensuring that lived experience is at the heart of service design, evaluation, and improvement. Our approach is trauma-informed, ethically robust, and tailored to the needs of each community, enabling meaningful participation and high-quality insight.
